Miscellaneous Mum - Trying to find the objective correlative, everyday
This is going to be a quick update today – it occurred to me that I’ve not said I’m a guest of the Melbourne Writers’ Festival in a couple of weeks. On Saturday 24th August I’ll be over in Ballarat at the Museum of Australian Democracy at Eureka (M.A.D.E), which has just opened and by all accounts is very impressive. I can’t wait to check it out.
There’s a whole weekend of programming, with lots of big names, and will no doubt be fabulous! Check it all out here.
Here’s what I’m doing:
Join bloggers Karen Andrews, Dorothy Krajewski, Erin McKuskey, Tammi Jonas, Jess McCullough and Rohan Anderson to hear their take on the topic of politics and power, freedom and democracy in the digital space.
($5 session pass)
Saturday 24th August, 3pm
Ever thought a blog might be good for your writing or community idea but not sure where to start? In this one-hour workshop, the author of Misc Mum, Karen Andrews, will introduce you to the world of blogging, how they work, how you can write one, the basics of social media and more.
($20 workshop pass)

Exciting! Maybe I’ll see you there.
