I’ve been wanting to block out some time for a  blogging brainstorm/thinkover for 2011 and everybody I’ve mentioned the idea to has said, “That sounds great! Let me know if you go ahead with it, I’d like to join you.”

It’s not 100% set in stone yet but I can book a local (Eltham) meeting room for Friday 22nd October between 10am-1pm and you’re more than welcome to come along!

I don’t really want a ‘formal’ session. My vision is to have a bunch of us sitting around some tables, chatting, brainstorming, doing some ‘off the interwebs’ thinking. I know some of us are going ‘life lists’ at the moment, and to be honest I’ve been wanting to start mine. We can talk about those too. For the writer/blogger hybrids among us, who have a foot in both camps, it might help to lay out our goals for both over the next year (this is my big hope).

This meeting place has a cafe next door, but you can also bring your own food if you wish. I’ve organised with the toy library to borrow some toys for any children who’ll be coming along, and are welcome.

The costs involved might be throwing a little into a pot to cover the costs of the hire (which isn’t much).

What do you think? Would you like to come? If so, drop me a line at contact@miscpress.com.au. If you have any questions, leave me a comment!
