Thrifty Thursday: Ginger Tree

I have taken to green, and I don’t know why. When I was a teenager, I never wore it, found it such a 70s colour <insert teenagerly disdain>, even during the 60s psychedelic fashion revival of the early 90s, and certainly once the monochromatic Calvin Klein / minimalism of the mid 90s came about. Mind you, I was guilty of several fashion crimes during these periods, so don’t think I am in any position to judge.

But! Back to green.

This dress, as a size 6, I have to admit, is snug. Quite snug. And, for what I paid, expensive because I haven’t worn it enough yet to feel the purchase is justified.

Just look at the pretty shoulders, though. It is cute.

It’s very pretty. A nice shade of green- don’t think I have seen it on but it looks good on the hanger.

(Which fashion crimes were you thinking of? The jeans with the American flag printed on them? They were cool- at the time…if you wore them today in public I’d pay you $50)
:-)

Well I think they’re still at home in the cupboard, shelly. I’d put them on for $50.

But you can’t just put them on, I mean wear them out for a full day in the city. With photos. Then I would honour my bet.
