When Keira said she wanted a Looney Tunes cake this year, I kept asking, “Really? Are you sure?” I mean she’s only seen a handful of Tweetie Bird episodes and I was waiting for her to change her mind. She kept insisting and I said, “Okay! Just don’t be disappointed on the day when it’s not fairies or something.” The selling point was that it had yellow sprinkles all over the side (which you can’t see here) and – if you didn’t already know, world, it’s like common knowledge – yellow is her favourite colour.
The cake? Good, isn’t it? Made by some jolly Frenchman named Ferguson Plarre.
My husband took the shot. I doubt he would make the ranks of food blogger photographer. Please ignore the stray chip, food wrapper, and rolled-up bit of cling film on the table. Just your typical party debris.

Ooooooh! I’ve always liked those bakehouses and that cake is fantastic for any kid (big or small)
It looks great, obviously Keira hadn’t changed her mind lol
That looks great! I always look at the party aisle whenever I go shopping and wish for the day I can plan my kid’s party – one day, one day! Those cake decors are getting better and better!
VERY nice cake! And i didn’t notice the chip until you mentioned it.
Thank god for this blog entry. You inspired me to give up my repeated failed attempts to make a birthday cake. I visited the same lovely Frenchman and got an awesome Pokemon cake for Annie’s birthday party.
Just wanted to say thank you for saving my sanity.
Where did u find that cake. I am trying to throw my son a looney tunes birthday party and everything is hard to find. Can you give me any tips?….His Birthday is in Sept.
