Q: You talk about your new garden and I wonder if you’ve got any of your worm compost to spread on it?

To explain, this time last year we’d just purchased a worm farm. Unfortunately, not long after I wrote that post the worms went back up to Mr. Worm Creator In The Sky.

I blame in part a particularly brutal few days of heat in February ’08, but I also blame my own laziness in not trying harder to save the poor buggers by moving them when I could. I’ve had a post drafted for ages – I kid not – to confess this little secret, but I’ve been a little embarrassed to do so.

Q: Did Keira’s nits ever return?

After her four month saga of on-again-off-again-catch-it-get-rid-of-it run of nits and haircut solutions, I’m happy to say no they didn’t come back. But then school has just started again. I’ve got my fingers crossed!

Speaking of schooling, that’s what tomorrow’s installment of FMS will be about…
