Been tinkering with my feeds, since Google asked me too. Hope this works.

It’ll work.

It worked fine for me. Just don’t forget to update your blog’s RSS and email feed addresses afterwards.

Just in case, you may want to export your email feed addresses before you move. I know I was very happy I did that, when all of a sudden my FeedBurner account went blank. No, don’t panic, this was before I got a Google notice I should move them.

Good luck!

Cheers,
Max

“Just don’t forget to update your blog’s RSS and email feed addresses afterwards.”

Where? Here on the blog, on top of my banner? Where the little orange icons are?

So far it’s working okay, I don’t want to fiddle in case I stuff it up…

Karen,

for the time being it will keep on working just fine. Google does advice though to change the addresses, cos in time they will stop the forwards I’m sure.

Where your current RSS feed says:
feeds.feedburner.com/MiscellaneousAdventuresOfAnAussieMum
that will need to change in time to something like:
feeds2.feedburner.com/MiscellaneousAdventuresOfAnAussieMum
Notice the 2!

The same for your subscriptions per email, some code probably has changed there as well. Depending on your theme, you may have an options section to change this easily. If not, then you’ll need to change pieces of the code.

But just as you said, if you’re not comfortable doing it yourself in order not to screw it all up, there is no rush. You can wait until you have a tech person around to do it for you.

Cheers,
Max
