‘Dress Up Day’ makes mama proud

October 26, 2008

Keira’s preschool had a ‘dress up as what you want to be when you grow up’ day last week. So among the girls there were princesses and fairies galore. Don’t think I’m being sarcastic or snide when I say this because, truly, at four years of age that’s all I would have wanted to dress up to be.

Not my daughter. What does she want to grow up to be?

That’s my girl!

Funny, my high school daughters had a fundraiser mufti day at school on Friday, and the theme was “When I grow up I want to be..”

And so the 15 year old dressed up as “a nerd”. (And strangely enough people told her she didn’t need to get dressed up for that because she already was one.!)
