I’ve spent the better part of this afternoon wondering why my blog wouldn’t open in Internet Explorer. All I got was an “Operation Aborted” message.
Frankly, it was really pissing me off.
Then my lovely husband got his laptop out and did some detective work and found that the Site Meter problem (it had also been down today) was kind of ‘infecting’ all other blogs whose stats pages were counted with them – like mine was.
The fix? I removed my Site Meter code and wha-la! Working again.
So now I will rely on Google Analytics until this Site Meter problem is fixed.
Phew! I love a puzzle once it’s worked out

How extraordinary. I have a site meter, and have always crashed on Miss Cellania, but no others.
