As you are enjoying her fine colours and interesting insight into the artist’s process, I will be over here, wringing my hands over the state of the household and the fact that the weather has turned COLD! and I have suddenly realised that my jeans are somewhat tighter now than this time last year. DAMMIT.

We’re leaving tomorrow for the weekend (a friend’s wedding. ) The house is a complete wreck and I still have to finish laundry and pack. The kids are in the middle of the bed having a picnic because it’s SUPPOSED TO BE SPRING HERE. But apparently I’m wrong. I don’t envy you heading into winter. The jeans? Don’t put them in the dryer. THAT’s what makes them tighter. Promise.
